The event, held at the historic Palazzo Vecchio, featured a spectacular gala dinner and an impressive parade through the streets of Florence. It was organized under the auspices of UNESCO, with the aim of supporting charitable causes. A portion of the event’s proceeds was donated to the Lega del Filo d’Oro Project, which supports the rehabilitation of individuals with deafblindness and multiple disabilities, as well as to the YOU Foundation – Education for Children in Need, which promotes education for children in need through an official collaboration with UNESCO.
The event was attended by influential figures, including the Mayor of Florence, Sara Furano, Giovanna Cicutto, and Indian billionaire Chhaya Momaya.
