“This Fashion Event was the world’s first runway show to introduce these revolutionary technologies into fashion. I believe the fashion industry is about to change,” stated Dr. Varvara Karagkiozaki, cardiologist and head of Nanomedicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

“At first, this challenge felt entirely outside my comfort zone. I’m used to working with advanced textiles, but not with something that isn’t fabric at all—something futuristic,” he admitted.
However, the challenge turned into an opportunity to revolutionize fashion, allowing him to merge two seemingly incompatible materials into wearable technology.
“Who would have imagined that a garment could charge a battery?” he remarked.
Kostetsos emphasized that despite integrating high-tech elements, his designs remained aesthetic, body-enhancing, and commercially viable. He further announced plans to bring this innovative fashion to a wider market, starting from Thessaloniki.
